Kenya Thompson Visits

This Sunday we will welcome the Rev. Kenya Thompson to Saint Anne’s. I had the pleasure of working with Kenya at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church. She is now the Director of Leadership Development and Education at Emmaus House. Emmaus House is a vital ministry in the Diocese of Atlanta. Recently, I learned that our parish had a long relationship of volunteering and supporting Emmaus House in the past. Kenya will be with us preaching at the 8:00 and 10:30 services and leading the adult formation hour in the library. She will share a little of the history of Emmaus House and the new initiatives that have been started in People’s Town, the community near "Turner Field." Read more about her below.
